Scott Honeycutt grew up in Virginia and Tennessee. Although he has traveled widely throughout the United States, his favorite places to hike are still located in the southern Appalachian Mountains. In addition to his habit of taking day-rambles up and down local hills and valleys, Scott has thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, Vermont’s Long Trail, and California’s John Muir Trail. Scott holds a Ph.D. in American literature and works as an Associate Professor of English in Johnson City, Tennessee. Scott is available to lead workshops on psychogeography, poetry, walking, and environmental literature. Feel free to contact him.
